B-[4] + H.; The Raman spectrum of synthetic dumortierite in the frequency region 2000 4000 cm(-1) comprises eight bands, of which six are located at frequencies below 3400 cm(-1). This points to strong hydrogen bonding, most likely O2-H center dot center dot center dot O7 and O7-H center dot center dot center dot O2, arising from a high number of octahedral vacancies at the All site and substitution of trivalent Al3+ and B3+ for Si4+ at Si1 and Si2 sites, causing decreasing acceptor-donor distances and lower incident valence at the acceptor oxygen.; Contrary to the synthetic high-pressure ABSH-dumortierite, magnesiodumortierite from the Dora-Maira Massif, which is assumed to have formed at similar conditions (2.5-3.0 GPa, 700 degrees C), does not show any B-excess. Tourmaline shows an analogous behaviour in that magnesium-rich (e.g., dravitic) tourmaline formed at high pressure shows no or only minor amounts of tetrahedral boron, whereas natural aluminum-rich tourmaline and synthetic olenitic tourmaline formed at high pressures can incorporate significant amounts of tetrahedral boron. Two mechanisms might account for this discrepancy: (i) Structural avoidance of Mg-[6]-(OR3+)-R-[4] configurations in magnesiodumortierite due to charge deficieny at the oxygens O2 and O7 and strong local distortion of M1 due to decreased O2-O7 bond length, and/or (ii) decreasing fluid mobility of boron in Al-rich systems at high pressures. In order to understand imbalance of accommodation and sediment supply in the initial stage of basin-fill, a detailed analysis of sedimentary facies was made for the lowermost siliciclastic deposits of the Liguan Formation. It reveals ten siliciclastic lithofacies in three large-scale outcrops (Jinhe, Anqianzhuang, and Zhangjiapo sections). These facies are grouped into four facies associations, representing siliciclastic foreshore-shoreface (S1), siliciclastic offshore (S2), distributary mouth bars (S3), and coastal plain (S4). The siliciclastic components occur in a linear belt, emanating from a major drainage system in the northeastern part of the platform. Deposition of siliciclastic sediments was largely controlled by regional topography of the unconformable surface and shoreline configuration as well as strong effect of waves and currents. With ensued rise in sea level and decrease in siliciclastic sediment supply, carbonate sediments prevailed, filling the accommodation created by epeirogenic subsidence and sediment loading. A necklace-like tafone system, referred to here as beaded tafoni, has developed in the prominent cliffs of the Danxia landscapes within the Longhushan Global Geopark in the subtropical zone of South China. This paper presents a new model of the formation of this system of extraordinary beaded tafoni. The cliffs of the Danxia landscapes of the study area are composed of an alluvial conglomerate (i.e., red beds). These Danxia landscapes have subrounded summits that are covered by vegetation and experience a nearly vertical water flow induced by gravity. Erosion and collapse of the outsized gravels and concentrated pebbles in the red beds give rise to the initial development of the beaded tafoni. The tafoni then become rounded and beaded as a result of reworking and decay by fluvial outwash. During storms, intense water flows run vertically down the cliffs and generate a whirling motion in the tafoni. Consequently, the inside walls of the tafoni gradually become wider and smoother. During the late development stage, the beaded tafoni tend to become indistinct or disappear because of the interconnection of the tafoni and subsequent merging with the bedding-controlled cavities. We evaluated outcomes and complications of intercalary prosthetic reconstruction for pathologic diaphyseal humeral fractures and report the application of an extracortical plate that can prevent early loosening.; Methods: We retrospectively analyzed 9 patients who underwent intercalary prosthetic reconstruction for pathologic diaphyseal humeral fractures secondary to metastatic diseases between March 2011 and September 2017. Procedures were intercalary prosthetic reconstruction in 4 patients (group A) and an implanted intercalary prosthesis with a plate in 5 patients (group B). Operative time, blood loss, complications, and functional score were noted.; Results: Mean operative time for group A and B was 80 +/- 14 and 94 +/- 5 minutes, respectively; blood loss was 115 +/- 26 and 120 +/- 31 mL respectively; and follow-up was 11.5 +/- 10.1 and 6.2 +/- 4.4 months, respectively. At final follow-up, all patients in group A had died, and 3 patients in group B had died; mean survival was 11.5 +/- 10.1 and 9.3 +/- 1.2 months, respectively. The mean postoperative Musculoskeletal Tumor Society score was 24.5 +/- 2.4 and 26.2 +/- 0.8, respectively. The mean postoperative American Shoulder and Elbow Surgeons score was 85.5 +/- 4.20 and 87 +/- 2.6, respectively. There were no significant differences between the 2 groups (P > .05). There was 1 aseptic loosening and 1 radial nerve injury in group A; there were no complications in group B.; Conclusions: The intercalary prosthesis yielded satisfactory outcomes in patients with pathologic diaphyseal humeral fractures, and an extracortical plate can prevent early aseptic loosening. Firstly, two Lemmas of the new system\'s stability at three equilibrium points are given and proved. Next, the largest Lyapunov exponent, the corresponding bifurcation diagram and the chaotic behaviors are studied. Then, the linear and nonlinear feedback controllers are designed to realize the system\'s local asymptotical stability and the global asymptotical stability, respectively. It\'s particularly significant that, the fractional matrix projective synchronization between two Rabinovich systems is achieved and two kinds of proofs are provided for Theorem 4.1. Especially, under certain degenerative conditions, the fractional matrix projective synchronization can be reduced to the complete synchronization, anti-synchronization, projective synchronization and modified projective synchronization of the fractional-order Rabinovich systems. The recently reported significant enhancement of oxygen surface kinetics on the La0.8Sr0.2CoO3-delta (LSC)/(La0.5Sr0.5)(2)CoO4+delta (LSC214) hetero-interface due to the formation of fast oxygen transport paths along hetero-interface is adopted into dual-phase membrane to achieve enhanced oxygen permeability. The 1300 degrees C sintered LSC/LSC214 (4:1 weight ratio) hollow fiber displayed a maximum oxygen flux of 3.35ml.min(-1).cm(-2) at 900 degrees C and 200mlmin(-1) helium sweep gas flow rate, which represents up to 80% enhancement relative to that of the 1300 degrees C sintered LSC hollow fiber at the same experimental condition. Such enhancement is enabled by the enlargement of triple phase boundaries to larger areas across the membrane surface for dual-phase case as confirmed by the significantly lower area specific resistance for LSC/LSC214 vertical bar Ce0.8Sm0.2O1.9 (SDC)vertical bar LSC/LSC214 relative to LSC vertical bar SDC vertical bar LSC symmetrical cell between 600 degrees C and 800 degrees C. This nominal dual-phase LSC/LSC214 hollow fiber also showed very stable fluxes of 3.3 and 2.3ml.min(-1).cm(-2) during 300-hr permeation test at 900 degrees C and 850 degrees C, respectively. Since a Time Of Arrival - Global Navigation Satellite System Intelligent Buoys (TOA-GIB) system does not measure incident beam angles, common refraction correction methods cannot be directly used for refraction artefacts. An Equivalent Sound Speed (ESS) iteration method is proposed and is based on the transformation relations between depth, the ESS gradient and the incident beam angle. On this basis, a TOA/AOA-GIB system without a real-time Sound Speed Profile (SSP) is proposed to estimate the target position and the ESS gradient as unknown parameters. The results from a simulation experiment show that the positioning accuracy of a TOA/AOA-GIB system is better than 0.07% of water depth when the accuracy of the incident beam angle is 0.1(degrees). Miltiorrhiza. The essential oil from aerial parts of S. Miltiorrhiza was obtained by steam distillation and then was analyzed through GC-MS. The AD mice model was induced by D-gal plus AlCl3, and then the mice in the experimental group were treated with essential oil from aerial parts of S. Miltiorrhiza. The protective effects of essential oil on the memory impairment of mice were determined by Morris water maze test. The contents or activity of SOD, CAT, MDA, Ach and AchE in mice brain homogenate and serum were analyzed by Biochemical Determinations (SOD, CAT, MDA, Ach and AchE kits were used). The result showed that terpenoids was the main components of essential oil from aerial parts of S. Miltiorrhiza, accounting for about 50.18% of the total essential oil, and beta-caryophyllene (8.58%), 6,10,14-trimethyl-2-pentadecanone (7.97%), dihydro-neoproene (7.96%), germacrene D (6.37%) caryop, hyllene (4.22%) were the main and characteristic compositions of the essential oil. The essential oil, given orally, prevented cognitive impairment in AD mice induced by D-gal plus AlCl3. Compared to the model group, SOD activity, CAT activity and Ach content were found to be increased in test group mice, while AchE activity and MDA content were decreased. All the above suggest that essential oil from aerial parts of S. Miltiorrhiza improve AD-like symptoms in mice induced by D-gal and AlCl3, and has the potential to develop a new drug for the treatment of AD. We propose two guaranteed rendezvous algorithms for cognitive radio networks under both single-radio and multi-radio scenarios with an asynchronous setting. For single-radio scenario, each cycle length is a prime number associated with a channel hopping sequence. The rendezvous can be guaranteed as long as the IDs of the two nodes are different. For multi-radio scenario, we propose a cycle length and rotation based rendezvous algorithm. Each node generates a channel hopping sequence with only one cycle length. Then these radios of each nodes rotate on the generated sequence with different rotation numbers at each hopping cycle. The rendezvous between two nodes is guaranteed as long as they have different cycle lengths or the same cycle length with different number of rotations. We conduct simulations on three metrics and the results show that the proposed algorithms outperform the existing ones. Isotropic linear elastic model is applied for elastic steel pressure bar, and HJC constitutive model is chosen for rock specimen. Numerical simulation results indicate that fluctuation effect exists in both reflected stress waves and transmitted stress waves, and it is enhanced with the increase of end-surface nonparallelism. The stress nonuniformity coefficient attenuates in a serrated fluctuation. With the increase of end-surface nonparallelism, the amplitude of transmitted stress wave gradually reduces, while stress nonuniformity coefficient increases. Stress equilibrium time first decreases slightly then increases in a step type. Therefore, nonparallel end-surface leads to two reverse results for stress uniformity during SHPB loading process, extending stress equilibrium time and shortening stress equilibrium time. And the influence on shortening stress equilibrium time is weak, while the influence on extending stress equilibrium time is great. When end-surface nonparallelism is 0.10%, stress equilibrium time achieves its lowest value whatever Young\'s modulus is. Hence, end-surface nonparallelism of the rock specimen is suggested to be controlled within 0.10% when conducting SHPB tests. A quadratic sensitivity model of distributed generation (DG) output or load to Line Loss (QSLL) and a linear sensitivity model of DGoutput or load to node voltages (LSNV) are established based on one initial load flow calculation. Using these models, the variety of line loss and node voltages of distribution network can be directly determined with the variation of DG output or load demand. Spectral upconversion is of great significance in reducing the wastage. Herein, the upconverting compound NaYF4:Yb3+/Er3+ was synthesized via a hydrothermal method. SEM and XRD results revealed the morphology and a phase transition from cubic to hexagonal NaYF4. Photoluminescence spectra indicated that the hexagonal NaYF4:Yb3+/Er3+ nanorods convert near-infrared light of 980 nm to the visible light with wavelength peaks at 654, 541 and 522 nm. Hence, the upconverting rods were incorporated in a polymethylmethacrylate (PMMA) layer on the rear side of a-Si:H solar cell. Under AM1.5 solar irradiation, a facile optical filter was used to scrutinize the effect of upconversion on the cell performance. Compared with a bare cell, the NaYF4:Yb3+/Er3+-based a-Si:H cell exhibited an 25% improved short-circuit current and an appreciable improvement of the nearinfrared response of the external quantum efficiency. Moreover, because the size of the nanorods is comparable to the wavelength of visible light, the rods effectively scattered light, thus enhancing the visible light harvesting. Herein, we reveal the influence of carbon content on the crystal orientation, particle size, and electrochemical performance of the nanocrystalline LiFePO4, which is synthesized by a hydrothermal method with predominantly (010) faces exposure. We found that an increase of the carbon content from 1.65 to 6 wt% modified the preferential orientation of the LiFePO4 crystal from the (010) plane to the (100) plane. The solid electrolyte interface resistance , also increased, causing a decrease in the electrochemical performance of LiFePO4/C cathode materials. Among all the carbon coated samples, LiFePO4/C composites coated with 1.65 wt% carbon exhibited the best initial discharge capacity and efficiency of 162 mAh g(-1) and 95.4% at 0.1C, respectively. This performance can be attributed to the low Etsf value and preferential orientation of the (010) plane. This paper presents a low-cost precision seeding control system for a conventional corn drill with mechanical metering devices of finger-pickup type. A median filtering method was implemented in the control system to process measurements from a rotary encoder in order to acquire stable values of the corn drill travelling speed. The metering unit was driven by an electric motor controlled by the metering ECU according to the actual travelling speed and the desired in-row spacing in real-time. A user interface was programmed to communicate with ECUs for configuring parameters and displaying operating information during working. The newly-developed precision seeding control system was first calibrated in terms of speed measurement and control for two ECUs. Experiments were conducted on a seeding test platform in the laboratory for evaluating its accuracy in dropping seeds by giving different in-row spacing under different travelling speeds of the conveyor sticky belt. Results showed that the average spacing error was less than 2 cm and the maximum RMS error was 0.78 cm for all spacing values including 25 cm, 30 cm and 35 cm under the travelling speed of 1.0-8.0 km/h. These indicated that the low-cost precision seeding control system worked in a both accurate and stable way.
