q (q) over bar (0) --> h\'s, which involves electromagnetic interaction and hadronic interaction, we determine the dependence of the mean production rates of particles in light (uds) quark jets on the primary quark flavor and number of quark pairs N. Moreover, the relative production rates of leading hadrons are obtained, which shows a strong correlation with the quark pair number N. These results provide a basis for furture studies of particle production in light favor jet at low center-of-mass energy range. The observable which can be employed to test flavour independence is the multiplicity of charged hadrons in jets originating from quark of light flavour. In this paper we calculate the average of charged particle multiplicities in light flavour quark jets in e(+)e(-) --> q(0)(q) over bar (0) --> h(s)\' events. We find that in e(+)e(-) --> h(s)\' events with different primary quarks, the average production probability of uds quark. so the yields of directly production hadrons are related to the number of quark pairs. The symmetry of isospin and strangeness suppression factor etc are dependent on the flavor of prompt quark, and this dependence is more obvious in low energy region. But the final average multiplicities of charged particles seem to be equal in three kinds of light q(0) jet events, which shows that our results are consistent to the predictions of QCD, i.e. the strong interaction is irrelevant to the quark flavor. It is shown that air showers induced by the primary gamma-rays can be effectively separated from the air showers induced by protons (background) using the combination cuts on the arrival time fluctuation and the lateral distribution width of secondary particles in air showers. This method can be used for reducing the background of hadrons in searching for gamma-ray point sources for ARGO experiment coorperated by China and Italy at Yangbajing. The effect of this method on the significance of gamma-ray signals is also estimated. Kanbala (5500m a. s. l.) is done. The experimental results are compared with those of the corresponding Monte Carlo simulation. The code CORSIKA with QGSJET as the hadronic interaction model is applied in the simulation. It shows that the lateral distributions of shower particles in the simulated family events are basically in agreement with experimental data and the whole distribution tendency of the rate of energy concentration for simulation is basically consistent with experimental data. We find that the ratio of the special three-jet events defined by constraining the angles between different jets is sensitive to different kinds of color connections. For these special events, different connections lead to significant differences for the charged particle multiplicity of events and properties of the gluon jet. The differences become larger as gamma(cut) getting smaller. By taking appropriate gamma(cut), as 0.0005 in this paper, the differences between these two kinds of color connections should be discriminated by experiments. The \'light + heavy\' bound state is described by light-cone wavefunction. The contribution of this process to (D) over bar ((D) over bar*) production at Z(0) pole is much larger compared with that in lower energies (e. g. 10.6GeV). For this special process, the invariant mass of (D) over bar ((D) over bar*) and the charm hadron fragmented from the c quark has a unique spectrum which peaks near 2M((D) over bar) if we constrain the (D) over bar ((D) over bar*) from all processes with energy larger than 20GeV. It is also noticeable that the produced (D) over bar* in this process is dominantly longitudinally polarized, which is consistent with the OPAL data. It is satisfied by various high energy reactions. This universal mass relation is in agreement with a simple empirical regulation proposed recently and is independent of the mass-center energy and the process of the reactions. This suggests that the mass of hadrons is the primary factor for describing the particle multiplicities. This indicates that the fragmentation of quark and gluon to hadron follows the same mechanism. We give a reasonable interpretation to final baryon multiplicity that is enhanced by 2.5 times in direct Y decays compared to the continuum through our calculating results. But we cannot find this similar phenomenon in direct J/phi decays. Using this mass relation we give the expression for calculating the multiplicities of all the particles, and calculate the yields of various final state particles and compare it with the data from e(+)e(-) annihilation experiments and other models. The result shows this universal mass relation can explain experiment as well without any additional assumption. We replace the color neutral flow connection,which is the results in large N-c limit and is used in JETSET,with the color separate connection,which is allowed by PQCD,and calculate these observables. We compare the obtained results with those from the standard JETSET7.4 code and the available experimental data. We find that the results and the relevant properties are consistent with data. This shows that the consistency of the data with the results from the standard JETSET7.4 code for these properties does not mean that the traditional color neutral flow is the only color connection selected by NPQCD.
