摘要:Nerve repair after spinal cord injury (SCI) requires orderly growth, migration, and transmission of neuronal signals in the regenerated nerve fibers at the injury site. Neuronal apoptosis occurs at the site of injury, so a regional \"barrier\" forms, and the nerve fibers cannot be reconstructed in an orderly manner. The biggest obstacle in the repair of SCI is the formation of a glial scar, and the subsequent disorderly axon regeneration. Here, we report our recent construction of a tissue-engineered, nano-coated,three-dimensional repair scaffold, designed to improve the nerve fiber stretching of axons during nerve regeneration.
