摘要：Fe-based composite reinforced with WC particles was obtained by the technology of the consutrode DC arc in-situ metallurgy. The microstructure and microhardness of the composite were investigated by means of SEM, EDS, XRD and microhardness tester. The results show that W atoms diffused in the C-rich overheating liquid phase and then WC granules are in-situ synthesized; WC and fishbone type (Fe, W)6C dispersed uniformly in the iron based binder phase dissolved with Cr, Ni, Mn and C etc. The dispersive distribution and incorporation of the embedded main hard phases, auxiliary hard phases and matrix provides excellent mechanical properties.
