摘要：The electric field control of magnetization is observed in Nd1-xSmxFeO3(x = 0, 0.2, and 0.4) at room temperature. Under the application of electric field, an enhancement of magnetization exists for Nd0.8Sm0.2FeO3, but a decrease of magnetization appears for NdFeO3and Nd0.6Sm0.4FeO3. The value of magnetization returns again when the applied electric field is removed. Such reversible change of magnetization controlled by electric field at room temperature may be of potential applications in spintronics and data storage technologies with low power consumption. © 2014 AIP Publishing LLC.
