摘要：Alumina powder was prepared by the aluminium hydroxides powder added with different additives. The effects of species, mass fraction and ratios of the additives on the morphology of alumina powder were investigated by scanning electron microscope. The results showed that the MgO addition can make the alumina grains smaller. Increasing the MgO mass fraction, spherical grains appear. The maximum amount of such grains were observed with 1% MgO addition with trend of developing into equiaxed shape. Adding 3% to 5% MgCl2can inhibit the alumina grain growth during the high temperature calcination. Fluoride can restrain the grain growth of alumina powder obviously, of which NH1F has better effect than AlF3. Combined agent of MgO, NH1F and H3BO3can restrain the grain growth trend of alumina effectively.
