摘要:With large amount of LED lighting loads and more and more plug-in electric vehicles (PEV) connected to the power system, we present a distributed algorithm integrating dynamic demand response (DDR) for frequency control and economic dispatch (ED) of generators. In this algorithm, LED loads, PEV loads and synchronous generators both respond to local frequency deviation in the system. However after a disturbance in the grid, LED and PEV loads respond to control signals before the synchronous generators. Then each generator adjusts its power output by its marginal cost independently that achieves economic dispatch eventually. Taking the cost of LED and PEV loads into account, the total cost of this algorithm still performs better. We present simulation results to demonstrate the effect of this algorithm and compare it with the traditional algorithm.
