摘要:The marine carbon cycle is influenced by anthropogenic activities, affecting global climate change and casting a significant impact on ecosystems. However, the complex spatiotemporal process of the marine carbon cycle results in the uncertainty in the estimation of marine carbon budget, either in a global or regional scale. As a result, the sensitivity of marine biogeochemical cycles in response to the climate change remains unclear, especially to the key processes which influence the long-term health of marine ecosystems. The mechanisms of marine carbon storage are thus to be one of the great challenges related to the global change (Hu et al., 2015).
