摘要：This paper analyzed five sedimentary characteristics of transgression events, and studied the geochemical characteristics of sedimentary strata in transgression events. Based on this, it detailedly discussed the sedimentary types and characteristics of transgression events, and conducted the distribution of sedimentary space in transgression events. It found: sedimentary of Transgression events showed mutations phenomenon of the ratio of marine element as Sr/Ba or B in geochemical characteristics. Sedimentary of Transgression events has four types. On the spatial distribution, sedimentary of transgression events during Early Zisong stage has comparative meaning in the whole area.The maximum flooding period during Gzhelian Stage, first flooding period during the mid Zisong stage and Mid-Longlin stage have regional comparative meaning. With the maximum events transgression during Zisong stage of the late Paleozoic,it analyzed planar distribution characteristics of different sedimentary types. That is: sedimentary of Transgression events in northern or southern which close to source area is mainly the combination of deep-water mudstone-coal seam- aluminum mudstone or root soil rock or deep-water mudstone (marine limestone)- aluminum mudstone or root soil rock, and it is mainly the combination of marine limestone- deep-water mudstone- coal seamaluminum mudstone or root soil rock and marine limestone- coal seam- root soil rock or aluminum mudstone inner basin, and present east-west exhibition, south-north zonation in overall distribution,which explain that the types of transgression events mainly related to the near-far of material sources. Based this, it summarized coal-forming mode of transgression events, and established map of coal-forming mode of transgression events. © Sila Science. All rights reserved.
