摘要:Wide Gamut Displays (WGD) have wider gamut than standard gamut. WGD can display more colors than standard display systems. But they adopt different primary colors, the mismatch of the two gamuts will cause color distortion. To solve this problem, gamut expansion mapping is necessary. In this paper, Hue Preserving Multi Level Expansion Method is proposed. It contains regular color expansion, high luminance color expansion and skin color nonlinear expansion. The method adopts different expansion method according to the feature of the color. Experiment results show the necessity of determining high luminance color and skin color. The method is efficient both in human vision and CCI increasing.
