摘要:The 3D flow field generated by dual-impeller combination for the agitation of glycerin fluid was simulated using the commercial CFD package. The laminar and a multiple reference frame (MRF) approach was used in the discretized equations of motion. The velocity profiles predicted by the simulations with four combinations of impeller rotating at constant speed of 200 r/min and at different layer clearances were obtained. It was found that the velocity distributions of the dual 6-bladed radial disc turbines (2-6DT) which got the laminar flow were the best when the clearance was equal to or more than T/2, Moreover, when the clearance was smaller than or equal to T/3, there were more advantages for 6-bladed radial disc turbines and pitch 4-bladed turbines (6DT+PTB) which got connected flow than other combinations.
