摘要:Ti/Al dissimilar materials were welded by gas tungsten arc welding with filler wires. Microstructure in the Ti/Al joint was studied with optical microscope, scanning electron microscope, energy-dispersive spectrometer, etc. Results show that various Ti-Al intermetallic compounds are formed along the interface. According to the degree of Ti alloy melted, interface is divided into different reaction layers. Under the effect of martensite transformation, microhardness in heat-affected zone is higher than it in titanium base metal. Element silicon enriched in the interface. The dispersive distribution of precipitated phase improved joint strength.
