摘要:This paper proposes a bipolar cascaded modular H7 current source converter (CSC) topology suitable for HVDC systent The proposed topology increases the DC side voltage level by cascading modular H7 CSC and the corresponding HVDC system can handle the monopolar grounding fault, which improves the security of DC transmission systent When the monopolar grounding fault happens, the proposed topology can limit the rising rate of fault current due to DC inductance compared to topology based on voltage source converter (VSQ). Simulation results verify the performance of the proposed current source converter.
