摘要：Quantitative investigation of particulate source emissions is the foundation of, and a prerequisite for, controlling atmospheric particulate pollution. Wind tunnel experiments were used to find the threshold air velocities for different coal-dust particle diameters and moisture contents. It was determined that the data fit the equation: u*=2.65e0.00014dw0.2629. The error between data and prediction is only 3.9%. This provides a new quantitative criterion for the threshold wind velocity. The dust emission from a coal pile at different wind velocities and moisture contents was measured and an empirical model of dust emission from a single pile fits the equation, Q=0.132(u-u*)2.4e-0.3825wg/(s·m2). The dust emission increases as moisture content decreases, with a negative exponential trend. Dust emission decreases from 72.7% to 97.8% as the moisture content increases to 4%.
