摘要:Multiphase generators with more than three phases can be applied for important applications because they can continue running even with one or two open-circuited phases. The Wound-field Doubly Salient Generator (WFDSG) is a competitive machine because it has the merits of both of the wound-field synchronous generator and switched reluctance generator[1]. A traditional five-phase WFDSG with 20/16-pole structure was studied in [2]. However, further study reveals that there is a drawback of phase asymmetry in this WFDSG. A five-phase WFDSG which has a new winding configuration will be proposed in this paper. © 2015 IEEE.
