摘要:The mathematical models of characteristics analyses on a novel hybrid bearing are presented. Finite element analysis for pressure distribution, supporting capacity and dynamic characteristics is performed, and the influence of the bearing's parameters on the dynamic characteristics is investigated. The results show that the studied bearing has many excellent features, which make this kind of bearing have a wide application prospect in high-speed machine tool spindles.
