摘要:The purpose of this paper is to simulate a brown long-eared bat (Plecotus auritus) ear model, and analyze the sound field in detail to get specific data on the frequency scanning properties. In this study, through the ultrasonic simulation using the FEM (finite element method) of the bat ear model, we obtained the data of the near-field and far-field acoustic pressure, and extracted and analyzed the data of positioning. The results show that the bat-ear model has obvious linear frequency scanning characteristics within a certain frequency range in the elevation axis of spherical coordinates, and provides evidence for the study of this kind of bat localization mechanism. © 2018, Springer Nature Singapore Pte Ltd.
