摘要：In the study of structure-born noise of the gearbox-like structure, the role of the path through which exciting force/moment transmitted from shaft to casing, is very important. In this paper rolling element bearing which connects shaft and casing plate is applied as the multi-dimensional compliant joint which clearly demonstrates the coupling between the shaft bending motion and the casing plate flexural motion. As the simplified system, a spring-mounted flexible beam with lumped masses inserted is investigated. The. mobility/impedance power flow mathematical model is developed and formulations are derived to analyze the dynamical behaviour of the above system. Forced harmonic response studies are obtained by using the formulations, and the results are compared with those of models using simple bearing model. Analytical results indicate that our model is indeed capable of predicting plate rigid-body angular motion or plate flexural motion as excited by shaft bending motion.
