摘要:Based on a home-made titanium disulfide (TiS2) saturable absorber (SA), we demonstated a passively Q-switched Er:YAG laser at 1645 nm. Under an absorbed pump power of 10.75 W, a maximum average output power of 1.42 W was achieved with a pulse duration of 1.2 mu s at a repetition rate of 38 kHz, corresponding to a pulse energy of 37.4 mu J. Our results indicate that TiS2-SAs have great potential to be the optical modulator in the eye-safe wavelength range.
