摘要:Molecule-surface collisions are analyzed using the Lie algebraic method. Based on the close coupling approach (CC) and the time evolution operator a proper algebra h6 is presented and a set of differential equations for the group parameters is derived. Joining together the discussions about the problem of open and closed channels for diffraction, we obtained an explicit expression for the complete wavefunction near the surface (i.e. z almost-equal-to 0). Comparing with the CC theory our results are satisfactory. Moreover, we determined a reasonable estimate of the parameters involved in the potential through a self-consistent procedure in order to verify a concrete form of the potential. It is proved that Lie algebraic treatments are useful for analyzing the states in regions sensitive to the interaction potential.
