摘要：Coal pillar width plays a key role in both stability of pillar and roadway and coal recovery rate in underground excavations. At first, multiple-point borehole extensometers, bolt dynamometers and borehole stress cells were used to monitor the ground pressure regularity of roadway in shallow seam with soft roof. Then we used UDEC to analyze the deformation and stress of roadway with different coal pillar widths. Results of in-situ investigations and simulations show that surrounding rocks of no. 20306 auxiliary haulage roadway in Gaojialiang Mine deform greatly and are difficult to support when the coal pillar width is 20 m. The peak of abutment pressure ahead of coal face is located 20-30 m far away from coal face, while that of side abutment pressure is about 22 m. The reasonable width of coal pillar in no. 20306 coal face is 12 m, which is helpful for both the stability of roadway and the saving of coal resources. © 2014 ejge.
