摘要:The cadmium complex [(CH(3))(4)N][Cd(C(3)S(5))(2)]center dot H(2)O constructed by 1,3-dithiole-2-thione-4,5-dithiolato (OMIT) ligand has been synthesized and its structure has been determined by means of X-ray single crystal diffraction. Its two-photon absorption (TPA) has been studied in acetonitrile solution using open-aperture Z-scan technique with 20 picosecond (ps) pulses at wavelength 1064 nm. Its TPA coefficient beta was determined to be 4.475 x 10(-10) m/W, corresponding the TPA cross-section sigma(2) is 3.95 x 10(-53) (m(4) s/photon molecule). (C) 2010 Elsevier B.V. All rights reserved.
