摘要：">Using elastic-plastic finite element method, steel strip rolling process was simulated by multi-pass reversible rolling regardless of rolling mill rigidity. It was concluded that absolutely limit thickness is not existed. As long as the rolling force and the roll intensity are large enough, the thickness will decrease. Moreover, when rolling force increase to a certain extent, an elastic area occurred in the slippage zone on the delivery side. Analysis shows that appearance of elastic area is caused by rolling resistance increasing in rolling direction of central part of rolling region, with "hydrostatic pressure" formed, it makes equivalent stress of elastic area decrease that plastic deformation can not occur.
