摘要:We select 132 star-forming galaxies from SDSS DR5-7 with strong emission lines, including [OIII]4363 detected at a signal-to-noise larger than 5 a. We determine their oxygen abundance, using the temperature-sensitive (Te) method. We fit the relation of stellar mass and metallicity in a least-squares linear fit to the median data. We compare our relation with previous results. We find the [OIII]4363 detected more massive galaxies have much lower oxygen abundances than the normal galaxies at the given stellar mass. Part could be explained by the sample themselves as low metallicity ones, but part could come from the method itself.
