摘要：The multiplexed fiber Bragg grating (FBG) micro-seismic monitoring system with high sensitivity based on wavelength division multiplexing (WDM) and narrow line-width laser filtering demodulation is introduced. The highly sensitive acceleration probe based on FBG and a kind of cantilever structure is used in the system. The wavelength dynamic change of FBG is interrogated by narrow line-width laser filtering with the laser wavelength automatically locked at the midpoint of the edge of FBG spectrum. The minimum detectable acceleration is less than 1mm/s2 with a flat response from 5Hz to 200Hz. Owning the special advantages in high sensitivity and multiplexing property, the system shows great prospect in micro-seismic detection, geological disasters detecting, and mechanical vibration measurement. ©2011 IEEE.
