摘要:The quenching rate greatly affects the microstructure of the rapidly solidified Zn-5wt% Al alloy. The elevation of quenching rate increases the crystal grain size of the Zn-Al alloy and this is contrary to the traditional scheme. Partial Al-rich amorphous phase exists between α phase and β phase. Both of them can affect the properties of rapidly solidified Zn-Al alloys.
