摘要：Absolutely limit thickness is not existed. So rolling piece can be deformed plastically so long as the rolling force and the roll strength are large enough. But during actual rolling, the rolling mill has rigidity. When the roller is pressed, the stand upright column can be elastically lengthened, at the same time, the deformation of the rolling piece is less than the depression of the screw. When the rolling piece is fairly thin and the rolling force is fairly large, the rolling piece can not be deformed plastically any longer. It is important to study limit thickness with rolling mill rigidity regarded for rolling mill lectotype and deciding rolling process. This kind of limit process is analyzed with FEM, and the calculating model has been deduced, which is proved that the precision is very high and can be used to calculate the limit thickness.
