摘要:To reduce the current stress and the switching losses of dual active bridge (DAB) DC-DC converter, this paper proposes an optimized modulation scheme based on triple-phase-shift (TPS) control. Above all, a comprehensive analysis of operation modes is given. The transmission power and current stress model, as well as the zero-voltage-switching (ZVS) conditions are obtained by analyzing the waveforms and soft-switching restrictions in each operation mode. On this basis, the optimized scheme is presented to enable the converter operate in minimum-current-stress condition while guaranteeing ZVS operation in the whole operating range. In this way, both the conduction losses and the switching losses will be reduced. Therefore, the performances of the converter will be improved especially when the system operates in light-load or high voltage conversion ratio states. Finally, experimental results verify the theoretical analysis and the effectiveness of the proposed scheme. © 2018 IEEE.
