摘要:In order to eliminate the influences caused by microgrids on distribution relaying protection system, an area pilot protection system is proposed, the system configuration and operation principle are described. The area pilot protection system can determine fault section rapidly and reliably by collecting and comparing fault direction information of multi measurement points in the feeder. Fault direction, relationship matrix and fault information matrix are defined, the algorithm of fault section determination by matrix calculation is introduced. The absence of fault information caused by the failure of relaying protection devices or communication system are taken into account. The influences on fault section determination algorithm are analyzed and the countermeasures are proposed. This fault section determination algorithm possesses virtues of simple calculation, fast fault determination, high reliability and high error tolerance capability, it can provide excellent main protection function for distribution system with multi microgrids.
