摘要:In this paper, we propose an incomplete discontinuous Galerkin (iDG) finite element method for solving second linear elliptic equations, This method, called iDG-FEM, is designed by choosing an incomplete discontinuous finite element space in place of the classical finite element space. Optimal order error estimate in a discrete H-1 norm is established for the corresponding iDG-FEM solutions. Numerical results are presented to demonstrate the robustness, reliability, and accuracy of the iDG-FEM.
