摘要:A regional traffic control optimization is a problem of finding the optimal design parameters while we take into account. the route choice of users. This problem can be formulated as a bi-level programming program by taking the user-equilibrium traffic assignment as a constraint. To enhance effectiveness of signal control, state differences between road flows is distilled to build a traffic state hierarchical model. Then this model is inducted to bi-level model, in which signal control scheme and user equilibrium traffic assignment are optimized in the upper and lower level respectively. Genetic algorithm is applied to resolve the upper level while optimal value of the lower level is worked out by classical Frank-Wolf method. The solution procedure developed with the genetic algorithm has been tested as an example of factual road network. Extensive experimental analysis in comparison with results from former control methods reveal that the proposed model is quite promising for use in design of regional signal control.
