摘要:Flux-switching motor (FSM) offers unique advantages of low cost, high power density, relative low level vibration and acoustic noise. In this paper, a nonlinear equivalent magnetic circuit model (MCM) was developed to analyze the electromagnetic performance of Flux switching motor. Due to the obvious marginal and local saturation effect, specific solutions for local saturation and the convergent process by generalized multivariate damper method (GMDM) was discussed during the process. For achieving the compromise of rapidity and validity in solving magnetic circuit model, a new method to determine the iteration coefficients of GMDM was proposed. Finally, a prototype 8/4 pole FSM was designed and the results calculated were compared to that calculated by FEM.
