摘要：Nickel ferrite nano-powders prepared by low-temperature solid-state reaction method were modified by dipping method with La2O3rare-earth oxide. Crystal structure and morphology of samples were characterized by X-ray diffraction, scanning electron microscopy, and X-ray photoelectron spectroscopy. Sensitivity properties of samples modified by La2O3rare-earth oxide with different dosages were also investigated. Results reveal that La2O3has an amorphous structure, and NiFe2O4sensors modified with 4% La2O3in mass have better sensitivity of 24.5, at a lower working temperature of 150°C, to 1000 μL/L alcohol gas; therefore, the sensitivity is up to 36 at 250°C, to 1000 μL/L acetone gas, and response-recovery time are 1 s and 10 s, respectively. The results indicate that modification with La2O3rare-earth oxide can be used to develop a new gas sensor that works at low temperature.
