摘要:The trunk beam is an important part of the portal crane. Due to the complexity of the structure of the trunk beam and the state under loads carried on, it is difficult to produce a detailed analysis using only the knowledge of theoretical mechanics and mechanics of materials. The deformation of the trunk beam, as well as the stress distribution of the beam was obtained with FEA method, and how to improve the design of the trunk beam was discussed in this paper. © (2014) Trans Tech Publications, Switzerland.
