摘要：Fe-based alloy coatings with and without boron were prepared on Q235 steel by plasma cladding process. Composition, phases and hardness of the coatings were investigated by means of optical microscope, scanning electron microscopy(SEM), X-ray diffraction(XRD), electron probe microanalysis(EPMA) and microhardness test. The results show that more amount of boride of (Fe, Cr)7(C, B)3 is observed in the coatings containing B compared with that of carbide in the coating without B, and a large mount of FeB and a small amount of Fe2B disperse uniformly in the coatings containing B. In addition, some B atoms also dissolve in α-Fe as interstitial atoms. Both the content of eutectic(Fe, Cr)7(C, B)3 and hardness of the coatings increase with the increase of content of boron in the alloying powders for plasma cladding.
