标题：Ash chemical properties regulation of Lu'an coal and selection of gasification technology

摘要：To enhance the suitability of Lu'an coal with high ash fusion temperature (AFT) to large-scale coal-based oil synthesizes process, the influences of two ash chemical properties regulation methods, coal blending and flux addition on the ash fusion temperature and gasification reactivity were investigated using ash fusion detector, X-ray diffractometer, thermogravimetric analysis and so on. A novel technology for the 1.8 Mt/a coal-based oil synthesizes project of Lu'an Group was proposed. The results show that CaO, Fe2O3and MgO can decrease the AFTs of Lu'an coal by 150, 73 and 68℃ respectively when the addition amount is less than 7%. With the continuous increase of the flux, the fluxing effect of Fe2O3and MgO increases significantly. Within the range of the experimental investigation, the AFTs of Lu'an coal decrease about 3℃ for each 1% of Shenmu coal addition. It is the gradual reduction of mullite and the formation of fayalite and hessonite in blended coal ashes that lead to the decrease of AFTs. The primary minerals in Lu'an raw coal have little impact on the gasification reactivity of Lu'an coal char, while adding flux and Shenmu coal char can increase its gasification reactivity significantly.
