摘要:Gamut extension algorithm is applied in wide-gamut displays to keep hue unaltered and exert a good performance. A skin-color-preserving algorithm based on CIE-Lab space is proposed here. At first the accurate human skin color region is to determined, then a proper algorithm is presented to avoid the skin color distortion and make the normal colors still have good performance comparing to current extension algorithm. Experiment result on theory and practice shows skin colors are extended little and normal colors still have great extension level. © 2013 Springer-Verlag.
