摘要:In this paper, we propose a multiple-input and multiple-output (MIMO) coherent optical orthogonal frequency division multiplexing (CO-OFDM) scheme in free space optical (FSO) system to alleviate the influence of the fading channel, considering the joint effect of path loss, atmosphere-Turbulence, and pointing errors. Two different diversity combining schemes, maximum ratio combining (MRC) scheme and equal gain combining (EGC) scheme, are employed in the signal detection. Performance analysis of the bit error rate (BER) and outage probability of the proposed system have been presented. Numerical results show the performance improvement and advantages of the MIMO CO-OFDM FSO system, compared with the other CO-OFDM FSO systems. © 2018 IEEE.
