摘要:The performance of a diode-pumped passively Q-switched Nd.YAG ceramic laser at 1123nm with a Cr4+.YAG saturable absorber was demonstrated for the first time to the best of our knowledge. When the pump power was 11.2 W, the average output power of 0.8W was obtained, corresponding to the optical conversion efficiency of 7.1% and slope efficiency of 7.5%. The minimum pulse width was 8 ns with the pulse repetition rate of 116 kHz, which was attained with a 1% output coupler at the pump power of 11.2 W. © 2011 The Japan Society of Applied Physics.
